Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: October 16, 2026
LinkLynx is built to be used by as many people as possible, whether you browse with a mouse, a keyboard, a screen reader, or a setting that reduces motion. This page explains where we stand.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, on our public pages: the home page, creator profile pages, comparison pages, sign in and sign up, and our legal and support pages. We are working toward that target and do not claim full conformance yet.
What we have done
- Text and button colors meet the 4.5:1 contrast ratio on our dark background, including muted text and form placeholders.
- A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing keyboard users reach on every page.
- Interactive elements can be reached with a keyboard, and keyboard focus is visible.
- Link cards announce their title, subtitle, and that they open in a new tab. Focusing a card with the keyboard shows the same video and audio preview that hovering does.
- Form fields have labels, and icon-only buttons have accessible names.
- Our videos are silent motion posters and are hidden from assistive technology as decoration. If your system is set to reduce motion, videos stay paused on their first frame and page animations are turned off.
- Pages have a main landmark, a page language, and a clear heading structure.
- We run automated axe-core checks on our public pages before releases that change the interface.
Known limitations
- Looping background videos have no on-page pause button. They are silent and decorative, and they stay still when reduced motion is on, but we have not yet added a pause control for everyone else.
- AI-generated videos on creator pages have no captions or transcripts. They contain no speech or sound, but they can carry visual meaning that is not described in text.
- Images, titles, and descriptions on a creator's page are written by that creator. We cannot guarantee their alt text, wording, or the colors in their uploaded images.
- The page editor at /edit has been reviewed in code only. We have not yet audited it with an automated tool or a screen reader. Cards and sections are reordered with buttons rather than dragging, but we expect to find gaps there.
- We have not yet had a manual audit with NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver. Our checks so far are automated and keyboard based, and automated tools catch only part of the issues that matter.
- Pages from third-party services we link to or embed, such as Spotify, Stripe, and Product Hunt, follow their own accessibility practices.
Report a barrier
If something on LinkLynx is hard or impossible for you to use, tell us. Email support@linklynx.bio with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it.
We reply within a few business days and tell you what we can fix and when. If you need the information in another format, ask and we will find a way to get it to you.
